Diecast Model Car from the ERTL Models range

An iconic 1969 Dodge Charger known to TV viewers as the “General Lee” first debuted in 1979 on the hit TV show The Dukes of Hazzard. The General Lee was every bit as much a character on the show as stars Tom Wopat and John Schneider, creating many memorable TV moments with car chases and wild car jumps over rivers, ravines or anything else that got in the way.
The General Lee is instantly recognizable with it’s Hemi Orange paintwork, number 01 on the doors and the rebel flag painted on the roof. During production of The Dukes of Hazzard, more than 300 Chargers were used with only 17 cars surviving when the show ended in 1985.
The original 1969 Dodge Charger toted a 440 cubic-inch Magnum V8 engine which delivered 375 horsepower and a top speed of 135 mph. Exploding from 0 – 60 mph in 5.4 seconds, the Charger certainly lived up to it’s name.
This authentic 1969 Dodge Charger General Lee 1:18 Diecast Model Car is from the range of ERTL models and is an authentic replica of the original vehicle. Featuring a quality diecast body with opening doors, opening hood and trunk, detailed tan interior and steerable wheels with rubber tyres. ERTL Models have perfectly replicated the engine and provided accurate guages and dash.
